• The pharmacy technician, under the supervision of a pharmacist, will assist in the technical, non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations.
• Can participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality.
• Does related work, as required.  Maintains competency in the compounding of sterile IV medications. 

Job Requirements: 

• High School graduate or GED.
• 2+ years of previous hospital pharmacy technician experience.
• Completion of sterile compounding training/competency.
• Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
